A. General

This internet site ("site") is owned and operated by Eng Wah Organization Limited ("EW").

Your access and use of this site constitutes your acceptance of all the terms and conditions that follow. If you do not agree to any of the following terms and conditions, please discontinue your access and destroy all materials obtained from it immediately.

The management reserves the right to change the following terms and conditions at any time by posting the changes on line without prior notice. Your continued access and use of the site after the changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of all the terms and conditions as modified by the posted changes.

B. Conditions of Sale

Online ticket purchases

1. All online ticket orders are subject to seat availability and acceptance by Eng Wah cineplexes. The management reserves the right to reject any order.

2. Film schedules and ticket prices are correct at the time they are posted on line. The management reserves the right to change the film schedules and ticket prices by posting the changes on line without prior notice.

3. A service fee is levied on each confirmed transaction, unless otherwise stated.

4. There will be no refund or exchange of tickets once your online ticket purchase is confirmed. Ticket refunds are allowed only if the screening of the films is postponed, cancelled, interrupted or stopped due to causes beyond the management's reasonable control.

5. Children who are at least 0.9 metres in height require tickets to be admitted.

6. No senior citizen discounts are allowed for online ticket booking.

7. Complimentary passes cannot be used for online ticket booking.

8. The maximum number of seats for internet booking is 10 per transaction. There is no limit to the number of booking transactions in a day.

9. To protect the interests of online ticket/item purchasers, purchasers are required to collect their tickets/items personally and produce proper identification documents (NRICs or passports and credit card) and the issued Booking Number at the time of collection. Collection by representatives of purchasers will not be entertained.

Admission to the cineplex halls

1. Entry to the cineplex halls will be refused if the tickets are not purchased from the authorized points of sale.

2. No food and beverages purchased outside the cineplex are to be brought into the cineplex.

3. No equipment for photography, audio or video recording is allowed in the cineplexes.

4. The ticket holder must agree to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances and recording devices.

Exclusion of liability

Any system, server or connection failure, error, omission, interruption, delay in transmission, or computer virus;

Any use or access to other webs site linked to this site.

This exclusion clause shall take effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Privacy of information collected over the internet

We use the information we have collected about you and your representative ie your credit card numbers, card expiry dates, identification numbers, names and email addresses, etc... in this site for the following purposes:

To process your orders and for us to update you on your order status;

To check and ensure the tickets sold over the internet are collected by the genuine visa cardholder or his appointed representative; and

To recruit you as a member of our loyalty programme, Friends of Eng Wah.

EW does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. By accessing or using this site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by EW.

Governing law and jurisdiction

By accessing and using this site, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

D. Transaction security

We encrypt your particulars, especially your credit card numbers, identification numbers and names and the security of your online transactions by using Secure Socket Layer, SSL, the most popular security standard on the internet. SSL encrypts all data you input and renders them unreadable to anyone who might intercept it.

However, no warranty, or representation, whether implied or express, is made that your transactions or credit card or identification card information cannot be read during transmission or that there will be no breach of security. All transactions, identification card numbers and credit card payments carried out through EW shall be at your own risk.
